《起步篇》是进阶式对外汉语系列教材《成功之路》中继《入门篇》之后的初级汉语教材。从本书开始，学习者将迈出学习汉语语法的第一步。  

全书共两册，7个单元，28课。其中第一册3个单元，第二册4个单元，每个单元4课。学完这两册，学习者可以会说600多个汉语词语，能写400多个汉字。  

每册均附赠听力文本和练习活页，一课一页练习题，可作为课后作业。练习活页里还有7套单元复习题，可帮助学习者集中复习。 

随书附赠录音CD 1盘，录有课文、生词及部分听力练习题等内容。
