책소개
본서는 한국어 학습자의 의사소통 능력 향상을 위한 재미있고 체계적인 학습 내용 및 한국 문화를 폭넓게 경험할 수 있는 문화 내용을 제시하고 있으며, 국내외 현지 학습자들의 초급 한국어 학습 상황을 고려한 실제적인 과제로 구성되어 있다. 또한 유창성과 정확성을 고르게 향상시키기 위한 의사소통 활동과 언어 요소의 균형 잡힌 학습을 위한 다양한 내용을 담고 있다.
학습 내용과 활동은 성인 학습자의 인지 능력, 학습 전략을 고려하여 효율적인 학습이 이루어질 수 있도록 하였으며, 문화 상호주의적 관점에서 한국 사회와 문화를 올바르게 이해할 수 있도록 실제적 자료와 문화 정보를 다수 포함하고 양방향의 문화 학습이 이루어질 수 있도록 하였다.
‘누리-세종학당’ 학습 프로그램과 연계하여 여러 언어로 번역된 강의를 통한 한국어 자가 학습이 가능한 점도 매우 큰 장점이라 할 수 있다.
‘세종한국어 4’는 14단원의 단원당 교육 시간은 6시간으로 세종학당의 운영 사정에 따라 융통성 있게 적용할 수 있도록 하였다. 문법은 단원당 두 개로, 교재 전체의 문법 항목 수는 28개이다. 어휘는 각 단원의 주제와 관련된 것으로 단원별로 2개의 의미 범주를 선택하였고, 총 558개의 어휘를 학습한다. 특히 발음 항목을 통해 발음 원리를 이해하고 정확한 발음이 교육될 수 있도록 하였다. 문화 단원은 주제를 공유하는 관련 단원에서 10분 정도의 시간으로 가볍게 다루거나 누리-세종학당과 연계하여 별도 단원으로 학습할 수 있도록 구성하였다.

Book Introduction
This book presents interesting and systematic learning contents to improve the communication ability of Korean language learners and cultural contents to broaden the experience of Korean culture. It consists of practical tasks considering the beginner Korean language learning situation of local and international learners. It also contains a variety of content for balanced learning of communication activities and language elements to improve fluency and accuracy evenly.
The contents and activities of the study were designed to enable effective learning in consideration of adult learners' cognitive abilities and learning strategies, and include a large number of practical materials and cultural information in order to correctly understand Korean society and culture from a cultural reciprocity perspective. Learning was made possible.
Another advantage is that Korean self-learning is possible through lectures translated into various languages in connection with the Nuri-Sejong Hakdang program.
'Sejong Korean 4' has 6 hours of training per unit in Unit 14, allowing flexible application according to King Sejong Institute's operation. There are two grammars per unit, and there are 28 grammar items in the textbook. The vocabulary is related to the subject of each unit, and two semantic categories are selected for each unit, and a total of 558 vocabularies are studied. In particular, pronunciation items were used to understand pronunciation principles and to teach accurate pronunciation. The cultural unit is designed to be treated lightly for about 10 minutes in the related unit sharing the topic or to be studied as a separate unit in connection with the Nuri-King Sejong Institute.
